Earl's Sandwiches - Arlington, VA

Just s stone's throw from the White House lie's Earl's Sandwiches, featuring homemade soups and, of course, sandwiches!

For me (a carnivore) nothing beats either "The Roasted Earl", it is thinly sliced pork loin, with roasted green pepers and a garlic mayonaisse or the "PorK and Fries", roasted pork with chipotle mayonnaise, sweet pickle, chopped onlion, roasted green peppers and french fries between two pieces of toasted ciabatta bread. Wow!

Earl doesn't forget about you vegetarians either. Try the "Mona Lisa", grilled eggplant, sharp provolone chsse, roasted peppers, garlic and mushrooms on ciabatta. Great with their pesto mayonnaise!

Great stuff! Perhaps one day Earl's will become a national or historic landmark!
