Langer's Deli - Los Angeles, CA

My boyfriend just recently turned me on to this place... especially the #19 sandwich. It's unbelievable, the best pastrami in the whole world, hand sliced, with swiss cheese, cole slaw and topped with Russian dressing. Yummy indeed. And the bread is out of this world. It's the full package.

LA has ton's of deli's but the pastrami at Langer's seems to leave all the others in the dust. Thick hand cut slices sure is better than the standard deli pastrami, don't even think about the pre-packaged stuff at the grocery store.

Langer's has been in business since 1947 so there must be others who think this is a neat place, besides me. I didn't know that the James Beard Award recognized delis, but they recognized this place!

Give it a chance, I bet you will become a regular!
